Les Izzmoore - Performances at The Nook Cafe

	To the left is a full recording of my gig on June 13, 2009 (almost three hours including breaks) at The Nook Cafe in downtown Kenosha, WI. The audio is pretty good and the video pretty bad. There are also some 'drop-outs' (missing chunks) due to being recorded over the internet at a remote site. The video just freezes once in a while too (which could just be a problem with my computer). Reloading the page usually does the trick. Some song beginnings get missed too. I still think this technology is all very cool. The world debut of 'Just Can't See the Beads' is at time index 21:30 approximately. My favorite sections begin at about 35:00 (2nd set) and 1:57:00 (4th set). Click inside the play bar (bottom of video window) to jump to different time indices. There are two different ways to access other performances at The Nook Cafe. They host an Open Mic every Monday evening and every act is recorded (three songs each). It is a wonderful weekly event hosted by Chris Sipos, an incredible musician who sits in with many of the artists and I encourage you to explore it. Click once on the right-pointing triangle to start the video on the left. 'MENU' will appear in the lower right corner. Click once on it. Then click on 'BROWSE ON-DEMAND LIBRARY'. A right-hand scroll menu will appear with names and dates. Everything with 'Greg' in the title includes me but I also sit in with some of the other artists listed. All these recordings are only active for about two or three months (I am guessing). My work here in Illinois is almost complete and I will be relocating back to Washington state sometime before winter. Until then I plan to continue performing at The Nook in Kenosha on Mondays at least and will try to maintain this web page as time permits. I love the internet!
